The Dance Movement Dress Code Options

Creative Acro Ages 3-5:

  • Leotard (Any style any color)

Creative Movement Ages 3-5: Leotard (Any style any color) ballet pink/skin colored tights and ballet pink/skin colored ballet shoes

  • Leotard (Any style any color) ballet pink/skin colored tights and ballet pink/skin colored ballet shoes

  • We recommend canvas shoes instead of leather

  • We recommend shoes without a drawstring

Ballet Classes for Ages 6-19:

  • Black Leotard (Any style), ballet pink/skin colored tights, ballet pink/skin colored ballet shoes. 

  • Dancers should wear convertible tights and can add a dance skirt or spandex shorts with their leotards

  • No leggings with Ballet attire

  • We recommend canvas shoes instead of leather

Technique Classes all ages:

  • option of: leotard, sports bra, spandex shorts, leggings

  • No flare leggings, and make sure dance wear fits properly

  • Any color is allowed, no cover ups

  • Skin colored Jazz shoes for Jazz classes- we recommend leather shoes

  • Skin colored half soles for all other classes- we recommend canvas shoes instead of leather

Hip Hop Classes all ages:

  • Any moveable, age appropriate clothing. Sports bra underneath.

  • Tennis shoes

Acro/S.S.S. Classes all ages:

  • option of: leotard, sports bra, spandex shorts, leggings

  • No flare leggings, and make sure dance wear fits properly

  • Any color is allowed, no cover ups

  • No shoes, barefoot

  • All dancers should wear their hair secured and out of their face at all times preferably in a bun

  • All ballet classes: dancers should wear their hair in a bun.

  • No jewelry allowed, such as necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets

  • Apple watches are allowed in order to track activity unless the dancer starts using the watch for other means during class time.
